About Kismet Tonic & Espresso

Nestled in the relaxed vibe of Yandina, this cafe offers a calm spot to enjoy thoughtfully prepared drinks and dishes. The menu leans into wholesome, often plant-based choices, with a mix of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that draw on local ingredients. You’ll often find people stopping by for a soothing turmeric or chai latte, both served with housemade almond milk that adds a gentle, fresh twist. Small plates, healthy treats, and fresh-made sweets complement the beverage selection, though the food tends to lean toward lighter, dough-based offerings like muffins and quiches rather than heavier meals.

The atmosphere encourages you to take your time, whether lounging outdoors under the sun or seated in a casual, inclusive space that welcomes families, LGBTQ+ visitors, and those with accessibility needs. Live music and performances add to the community feel some afternoons, making it a gathering spot that’s as much about connection as it is about the food and drinks. Dogs are welcome both inside and out, adding to the friendly, laid-back environment.

Visitors who appreciate fresh, organic dishes without rush — and those looking for a quiet moment with their coffee or a light lunch — tend to enjoy spending time here. It’s a place where the vibe is gentle and unhurried, situated within a neighborhood that reflects a grounded, local spirit.

The best chai I’ve ever had. A perfect balance of spicy & sweet and in a super cute mug. Note: opens 7am weekends (not 6am). I didn’t eat as wasn’t anything that jumped out? I’m not even sure if there was a food menu, I wasn’t given one and everything I saw was very dough heavy, muffins, quiche, ect

I loved my time here. Such a great spot to spend some time and not feel rushed. The food is fresh and made with local goods. The staff was so nice too and it was a huge plus that they have delicious homemade Almond milk which tasted amazing in both the coffee and the iced Japanese Matcha which my husband and I enjoyed. They have loads of gluten free options and fresh made sweets and healthy treats. A really great find and we will be back often!

A beautiful vegan cafe in the heart of Yandina. So many options to choose from. We ordered the ham and cheese toastie as well as a caffeine free chai and an iced coffee both on Kismet’s house-made mylk. Everything was really tasty. The house-made mylk was incredible. There were many people lounging around in the sun and shade on the grass. A really wholesome community vibe. They are working with a small kitchen space so be mindful of potential wait times. It was nice to see them busy and thriving. This will become our new regular go-to for sure.

I love this place so much. It’s got such a beautiful, feminine vibe. Tonics are and the pastries are to die for. I can’t usually eat pastries because of strict dietary requirements but for a gluten free, vegan they are heaven sent. All the staff are so lovely. Highly recommend!
